A lifelong athlete at heart, Jake thrives on competition and continuous improvement. That drive propelled a dynamic six-year career in corporate sales, where he contributed to agile startups and navigated the complexities of legacy Fortune 500 organizations.

Through these experiences, Jake gained firsthand insight into the operations of elite sales teams and spent significant time as a candidate, developing a deep understanding of what sales leaders seek in top talent.

 

Energized by networking and relationship building, Jake excels at connecting sales leaders with game-changing professionals and helping top performers find their next challenge - especially within fast-growing cybersecurity companies.

Outside of recruiting you can find him playing below-average golf, above-average pickleball, or fervently supporting the Michigan Wolverines. He also cherishes time spent with family, his fiancé Taylor, and goldendoodle Tuck.

I contribute most of who I am to being a lifelong athlete. I hate to lose, love to compete, and I'm always looking to improve.

 

That mindset naturally led me to what ended up being a 6-year stint in corporate sales. I worked for fast-paced startups in hyper-growth mode, as well as the more complex, legacy F500's.

 

My experience was two-fold. I got to contribute to, and witness firsthand, how some of the best sales organizations operated. I also spent significant time as a candidate, gaining a deep understanding of one's perspective and what sales managers sought in top talent.

Behind The Brand

The name 'Pagoda Search' is a nod to Jake's hometown. The Reading Pagoda has been an historical landmark and icon for the city of Reading, Pennsylvania for over a century. 

 

The multi-tiered structure of a pagoda is known to symbolize progressive stages of growth and enlightenment; mirroring our commitment to elevating clients and candidates at every step of their professional journey.
